Yi-Shan is a private equity real estate investor with over 25 years experience investing across the US and Asia, on behalf of the largest and most sophisticated investors in the world. She has lived and worked abroad in Asia for over 15 years. She is currently a Managing Director with BGO, a global real estate investment manager with over $100 billion in AUM.
Yi-Shan graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.A. in Policy Analysis and Management, an interdisciplinary major with coursework focused on core disciplines of economics, statistics, government, sociology and ethics. She is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Italian.
Yi-Shan joined the SHSAA Board in 2020, and has served as Chair of the Allocations, Development and Finance committee since 2021. She co-chaired the 2022 Benefit and has been honored and excited to contribute to furthering the mission of the SHSAA.
