About This Scholarship
This scholarship was endowed in honor of Murray Kahn, Stuyvesant’s beloved Chemistry Teacher and Assistant Principal who served the school and students from the 1970s through the 1990s. Stuyvesant’s Murray Kahn Theater, which is home to a variety of performances throughout the year including SING! is named after him. This award, in the amount of $1,250 is given to one student who has demonstrated dedication to Stuyvesant through service.
Applicant Criteria
- Candidate must be a graduating senior from Stuyvesant High School.
- Candidate must demonstrate dedication to the school through service and volunteerism.
