Reunion 2026 Photos
This was our biggest Reunion Weekend yet! Nearly 1,800 alumni and friends registered for the 2026 All-Class Reunion Weekend, up from just over 1,700 last year, and 18 events filled the weekend. On Saturday, we welcomed alumni to our Chambers Street building, and on Sunday, we opened the doors of the old building on East 15th Street. Generations of Stuyvesant alumni came back to reconnect with classmates and celebrate Stuy spirit.
Milestone classes from 1961 through 2021 gathered for their reunions, and we were especially glad to partner with the Class of 1981 to bring their 45-year reunion together. Reunion celebrations started early this year: on May 14, SHSAA partied with the Class of 1956 at their 70-year reunion.
On Sunday morning, the Class of 1986 continued their 40-year celebration with a bagel brunch in the old school cafeteria at 345 East 15th Street. The brunch was a gift to the class, with love, from the late Caroline Yu ’86 (1968–2024).
This year also introduced two new events: the Stuy Alumni ’80s & ’90s Mixer and the Stuyvesant HS Black Alumni Reunion, featuring a gathering and panel discussion. Both opened new ways for alumni to connect, and we look forward to co-hosting these events again next year.
You know it was a good time when the building alarms went off not once, but three times, as alumni “explored” their old stomping grounds!
If you couldn’t make it this year, we missed you, and we hope to see you next fall!
