About This Scholarship
This award is established in memory of Dr. Rlene Howell Dahlberg, an American art historian and poet. Prior to becoming an English teacher at Stuyvesant High School, Dr. Howell Dahlberg worked in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as publisher at Pequod Press. Dr. Howell Dahlberg’s dedication to the English Language Arts is still felt today, and is honored through the following scholarship selected by the English department.
Applicant Criteria
- Candidate must be a graduating senior from Stuyvesant High School.
- Candidate must have excelled in English and Humanities throughout their time at Stuyvesant.
The recipient will be selected annually by the Chair of the English Department.
