The Stuyvesant High School football teams need your help!

For the last 10 years, the Stuyvesant High School varsity and junior varsity football teams, along with their coaches, have taken five days out of their summer to attend Camp Scatico together. This year, they need your help to pay for it.

“Camp Scatico has been a critical component of each student-athlete’s experience,” said Coach Mark Strasser. “It has become one of the most memorable parts of their football experience.”

The camp costs $15,000 for 55 students and six coaches over five days, including accommodations, food, and activities.

“Over the last 10 years of attending Camp Scatico, our football team has made it to two championships, and last year’s team lost in the semi-finals had a final record of 9-2,” Strasser said. “Five days of practice at Camp Scatico is equivalent to three weeks of practice at Pier 40.”

Gifts of all sizes are welcome to help the Football Team pay for this experience that reaps rewards for the team on and off the field throughout the year.
