2023 Benefit for Stuyvesant Recap & Photos
On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, alumni from many class years, parents, faculty, and friends of Stuyvesant once again gathered at Tribeca Rooftop to honor notable Stuy alumni and faculty and celebrate our beloved alma mater at our annual Benefit for Stuyvesant.
Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and supporters, we raised over $315,000 (and still counting) for Stuyvesant. Please click here to view our event’s Program Journal.
We awarded “The Golden Pegleg” to Henk Rogers ’72 and also honored Nina Uzoigwe ’17 and Mr. James “Jim” Lonardo.
The Golden Pegleg was created completely at Stuyvesant. Bill Ni ’19 designed the award for the first Benefit in 2019 and the school 3D-printed the individual awards in the Irwin Zahn Innovation Lab.
