Stuy Tech Meetup in Boston – May 2026

Overview

Stuyvesant Alumni from all class years are invited to attend our May 2026 Tech Meetup.

We are glad to extend this networking opportunity to Stuyvesant alumni, students, and friends. The event will be held on Thursday, May 7  in-person at Formlabs (Twin City).

Those who attend will be able to hear from your fellow Stuyvesant alumni discuss their current roles in education and technology and mix and mingle with others in the field.

Speaker

Mike Zamansky ’84 has been called the “Godfather of CS Education.” He is the architect of Stuyvesant’s highly regarded computer science program and during his over 2 decades running the program has taught and shepherded hundreds of Stuy grads into the tech industry. More recently, Mike has worked as a Distinguished Lecturer at Hunter College creating New York State’s first K-12 computer science teacher certification program which has, to date, prepared the states first hundred certified CS teachers. Mike was also a lead author on New York State’s Computer Science and Digital Literacy standards and is a mainstay in the local and national computer science education communities.
