The Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association (SHSAA) is excited to announce that the Class of ’56 will be celebrating their 70-Year Reunion on Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15, 2026.
Tickets include lunch at One40 Rooftop, and visits to both the “new” and “old” buildings. Partners and other guests are also invited to attend, provided they have a ticket.

Enjoy the afternoon at your class luncheon, which will be held at One40 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar.
3-Course Lunch and Cash Bar in a beautiful private space with views of Lower Manhattan.

Class of 1956 School Tours
Enjoy a student-led tour of the “new” building at Chambers Street, along with some refreshments and a chance to meet Principal Dr. Seung Yu. Transportation will then be provided to the “old” building on E 15th Street for a group visit.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The Alumni Association is working on securing a discounted room block at a nearby hotel for the nights of Wednesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 14 . Once secured, the information will be posted below. In the meantime, please feel free to see if there is availability and affordable accommodations at Club Quarters World Trade Center, as the restaurant is located on their rooftop.
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL NEEDS?
Yes! All are welcome to join us at 345 Chambers Street. Please do not allow a special need to keep you from attending Reunion. The new Stuyvesant High School building is fully accessible. We want everyone to enjoy their time visiting and to participate in as many Reunion activities as possible.
If you anticipate needing a special accommodation based on a medical condition or (dis)ability, please contact us at [email protected]. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.
WHAT IF MY PLANS CHANGE AND I NEED TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION?
The following provides important information concerning any request to cancel your registration for any Stuy Reunion event (hosted by your Class or the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association). Except as the Alumni Association may decide in its sole discretion, full and partial refunds:
- WILL NOT be given if the request for cancellation is received after April 28, 2026
- WILL NOT be given in the case of inclement weather
- WILL NOT be given in the case of a no show or partially or completely missed event(s)
- WILL reflect a $10.00 processing fee
- WILL be made using the original form of payment, if granted
