About This Scholarship
The Dr. Howard Wexler Scholarship was first offered in 2017 by Dr. Wexler.
Dr. Wexler is the inventor of the Connect Four game as well as many other games and toys. He graduated from CCNY with bachelor’s and masters degrees in education and educational psychology. His PhD is from Fordham University in educational psychology. An interest in toys started at a young age however he did not begin actually inventing until later in life. In addition to being an inventor he has worked as a social worker, schoolteacher and school psychologist.
Scholarship offering of $15,000 each to two students by Dr. Howard Wexler, inventor of Connect4.
Applicant Criteria
- Students must complete application and answer the Howard Wexler Essay Questions.
